Our Ethos
Eco-Centered Design & Craftsmanship
From integrating waste management systems and upcycling local resources to salvaging ancient bricks and doors from China and using natural materials, every space in Ning’s Yard is attentively created and creatively curated based on permaculture ethics, regenerative principles, and sustainable design, while seeking to reawaken the value of upholding traditional craftsmanship and culture.
Embodied Healing Practices
Our connection to ourselves and our bodies is where the healing begins. Embodiment practices use the body as a tool for healing through self-awareness, mindfulness, connection, self-regulation, finding balance, and creating self-acceptance. The holistic integration of these practices deepens the relationship between our physical being and our energy.
Creative & diverse community in service
Ning’s Yard places special emphasis on creating a welcoming environment for community engagement. Its aim is to catalyze creative collaboration nurtured by an alter-economic system that engages in emergent processes and explores decolonial approaches to ecology, land, knowledge sharing and solidarity.
